Summer Camps 2023

What Can You Expect From a PCS Camp? Each summer PCS provides incredible camps at realistic prices for kids who love to create and explore God’s world. Students perform science experiments, play games, cook, watch educational videos, and make arts and crafts; all projects designed to enforce core concepts and develop passion for learning!
We accept campers who have completed kindergarten up through 7th grade. 

Camp runs from 8:45 am-12:00 pm, but before and after care are available.

Choose from one of the Summer Fun camps below:

HERP CAMP: June 12-16 

Our Most Popular Camp! Come experience the world of herps: reptiles and amphibians galore! Interact with a variety of herp friends as we learn about the weird, wild, and scaley lives of herps.

GAME ON CAMP: 

June 19-23

What could be better than a week dedicated to learning about games, designing your own, delving into the history of games, and of course, play LOTS of different games?


THEATRE CAMP: 

June 26-30 

All the world’s a stage, and Pathways will prepare you for it! Make puppets, learn how to do stage makeup, write scripts, craft props, and learn to let your inner star shine.

 

ANCIENT CIVILIZATIONS: 

July 10-14 

Travel back in time as we explore the art, history, and culture of five ancient civilizations. Walk through the pyramids, learn to be a Roman warrior, and delve into the Forbidden City!

CREEPY CRAWLY CAMP: 

July 17-21

Have you ever befriended a worm? Cradled a roly-poly in your hands? Do you think spiders are just misunderstood? Join us as we explore the world of tiny creatures that delight and disturb us.

ART CAMP:

July 24-28

A collision of color, crafts, and creativity! Come explore five major art styles and take a trip through art history in this arty adventure.

 

 

 

Cost: $150 per week, $800 for all six. Bring a labeled water bottle.

Before Care: 7:15-8:30 am. $10 per week.
After Care: 12-5:30 pm. $15 per day or $75 per week.

Bring a sack lunch.

SUMMER TUTORING Tutoring is available after camp. Two PCS teachers, Mrs. Renee and Ms. Mary, tutor in a wide variety of areas, such as reading, math, and ACT prep. Mrs. Renee has been teaching and tutoring for almost 40 years, has extensive training in phonics, and specializes in working with students who struggle in reading and math. Ms. Mary specializes in working with gifted students. She received a 34 on her ACT, has an extensive background in Latin, Greek, and Hebrew, and tutors in language arts, algebra, and other high school subject. Cost: $30 an hour.
